SAM2 is a shear magnetic lock for mortise installation in sliding or swing doors. The magnet and armature are concealed along the upper edge between the frame and the leaf, and the holding force acts in the lateral direction. The lock suits emergency exits and cases where other types of locking are not possible; for correct operation the gap must not exceed 2 mm.
