A refurbishment of The Conran Shop's Marylebone flagship: Chapel Hermitage oak in a colour matched to the client's swatch, plus extra-wide stair treads.
The Conran Shop is an iconic British furniture and design retailer dating back to the 1960s. When its Marylebone store was renovated, the brand needed a floor that spoke to its forward-looking vision rather than just its heritage.
Chapel Hermitage oak planks were chosen for the shop floor, in a colour called "Bruce" created from a client swatch. The project also included bespoke extra-wide stair treads, so the same material runs through every level of the store.
