The renovated puppet theatre: foyers with geometric oak parquet, colourful staircases and fairy-tale scenery.
After renovation, the Tashkent puppet theatre — the building with a knight on its façade — has vivid interiors: coral staircases, mint-green play-area floors and castle scenery right in the foyer. Domus Regia supplied the oak parquet for the foyers.
Parquet. Light oak is laid in a geometric pattern of hexagonal modules. Its calm natural tone balances the saturated colours of the walls and stairs, and the floor pattern itself becomes part of the play space for young audiences.
Where. The parquet runs through the foyers and stair landings, from the entrance to the auditorium.
